FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Fire damaged a barn at a Fort Collins farm on Tuesday morning.

The barn at Expanding Horizons Farm on South Shields Street was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at 6:43 a.m., Poudre Fire said on Twitter.

The animals were evacuated safety and were not hurt, fire officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Expanding Horizons Farm wrote on Facebook that it's a "fun place for kids to come explore the activities and responsibilities associated with farm life while expanding their interest and understanding of God."

The farm runs week-long camps for kids ages 6 to 12.

The farm is on South Shields Street, near Trilby Avenue.
