LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. – A grass fire south of Timnath Reservoir burned about 17 acres Friday before crews were able to put it out.
Crews from the Poudre Fire Authority, Eaton Fire Protection District and Larimer County were first called to the fire just after 1 p.m.
Firefighters had to protect two homes close to the fire, but it was contained by 2:14 p.m., officials said. The fire was in mop-up stages by 3 p.m. No injuries were reported.
