Belmar’s 15th annual Festival Italiano, a weekend celebration of Italian culture, takes place September 7 and 8 with a zero waste commitment, made possible by 20 stations throughout the festival grounds for recyclables and compostables.
More than 110,000 people are expected to attend the festival to enjoy over 70 local food and craft vendors, favorite returning entertainers and a few new noteworthy acts including demos from Galbani’s celebrity chef Marcoon the La Cucina Galbani Cooking Stage, as well as a full performance by string quartet Spinphony on Sunday afternoon.
Denver7 is a proud sponsor of Festival Italiano.
Come meet some of our team as they participate in events on the Cooking Stage both Saturday and Sunday. Jayson Luber, Tom Mustin and Brian Sanders will be tossing pizza dough on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. and Jaclyn Allen and Tawnya Rush will be building towers of cheese on Sunday at 10:15 a.m.
A portion of the proceeds collected during the event will benefit Project Angel Heart, which delivers nutritious, medically tailored meals to people living with life-threatening illnesses.
Additional details are available on the event’s website, which offers an event overview, a schedule of events, media parking instructions and more.
