DURANGO, Colo. (AP) -- Several roads in the Durango area are back open after heavy rains caused mud, water and rock to block roadways on Friday.
The Durango Herald reports one mudslide temporarily marooned people on a county road.
County officials are warning drivers to be careful the next few days, with more rain predicted.
The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a flash-flood watch for Saturday afternoon and evening for most of southwest Colorado.
