LONE TREE, Colo. – Douglas County sheriff's deputies were investigating a death at a Lone Tree apartment on Friday afternoon, and one person was in custody.
A high-ranking source at the scene told Denver7 that deputies were investigating the death as a homicide.
Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance on in the 10000 block of Park Meadows Drive. The situation turned into a death investigation, the sheriff's office tweeted. There was no threat to the community, but the sheriff's office was asking people to avoid the area.
