DENVER — The search is on after a couple of Denver Zoo residents flew the coop over the weekend.
Staff members are asking the public to keep your eyes peeled for a missing peacock after eight of them took off.
Staff members recaptured five right away, but one was, unfortunately, hit and killed.
The seventh was found and retrieved from a tree at a home on Fairfax Street.
The Denver Zoo said the missing peacock could be in the City Park West or the Park Hill neighborhood.
