DENVER — The city of Denver has released three updated Denveright plans after receiving feedback from more than 2,700 people last year.

The three plans — the Comprehensive Plan 2040, Blueprint Denver and Game Plan for a Healthy City — were updated. City officials will be taking public comment on the new drafts through February. The plans will go to City Council for review and approval in April, officials said.

"This is another opportunity for the public to comment on changes made to the plan and how to make that plan the best it can be before it reaches City Council," said David Gaspers, the project manager for Blueprint Denver.

You can learn more about the plans and weigh in at several drop-in sessions:

  • Ross-University Hills Branch Library, 4310 E. Amherst Ave., January 10, 5-7 p.m.
  • Decker Branch Library, 1501 S. Logan St., January 15, 5-7 p.m.
  • Scheitler Recreation Center, 5031 W 46th Ave, January 24, 5-7 p.m.
  • Park Hill Branch Library, 4705 Montview Blvd., February 5, 5:30-7:15 p.m.

"We want to have complete neighborhoods that are unique and authentic," Gaspers said. "We want to connect neighborhoods with a robust multi-modal transportation network that connects people and gets people where they want to go in the city."

Two additional Denveright plans — Denver Moves: Transit and Denver Moves: Pedestrians and Trails — are being finalized. Officials said those plans do not require City Council approval.
