Denver police: Body pulled from Sloan's Lake Thursday early evening

DENVER — Denver police have started a death investigation after a body was found near the shore of Sloan's Lake on Thursday.

Jay Casillas, spokesman with the Denver Police Department, said the department received a call at 6:16 p.m. Thursday about a body along the south shore by 17th Avenue and Tennyson Street.

Police did not release any other information on this incident or the deceased person.
