LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — Officials said dangerous flash flooding was occurring Sunday afternoon in The Retreat area near Glen Haven in Larimer County.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the area, but law enforcement later reported that flooding had receded and the warning had expired.

Streamside Drive and Fishermans Lane were the most impacted areas, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office was advising people in the area to reach higher ground by any means necessary and cautioned that roads may not be intact under flood waters.

There were no reports of injuries. It's unclear if or how much damage occurred.

Glen Haven is near the Cameron Peak Fire burn scar. An area resident of Glen Haven shared video with Denver7 of the North Fork Big Thompson River raging with mud and debris from the burn scar.

Phil McCallum said the video was captured from his front yard below Glen Haven.
