DENVER – A cyclist who was hit by a car in RiNo on Monday night died at an area hospital, police said Tuesday.
Denver police tweeted at 10:46 p.m. Monday that officers were at the scene of the crash between the driver and the cyclist near the intersection of 38th Street and Brighton Boulevard.
On Tuesday morning, police said the adult male cyclist died at a hospital. Police said the crash was under investigation.
The cyclist’s name has not been released and police have so far released no other details about the crash.
Several bicyclists have been hit and killed by drivers this year across the Front Range.
