DENVER – Two people were killed in a rollover crash on westbound Interstate 270 between I-76 and U.S. Highway 36 early Saturday morning, according to Colorado State Patrol.
The single-vehicle rollover crash happened just before 3 a.m., according to CSP Trooper Gary Cutler. He said there were three people inside the vehicle when it rolled.
Two females – their ages are unclear – were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash and one male was take to Denver Health, Cutler said. His condition was unknown as of 8 a.m.
Westbound I-270 remained closed as of 8 a.m. for cleanup work, as did the ramp from westbound I-76 to westbound I-270. It reopened around 8:20 a.m., according to CDOT. Click here for metro area traffic conditions.
