Neighbors hear popping sound
Two neighbors told Denver7 that they heard several pops and thought they might be fireworks.
"I was doing my dishes," said Celia Lechuga, "and my window was facing where it's happening right now. I saw a gray car, then I saw a cop, then another one, and another one, then the helicopter and I was like, 'what happened?'"
Aurora Police declined to comment about the incident, referring questions to the Adams County Sheriff's Office.
