BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Investigators say a northern Colorado man was killed when his clothing apparently became caught in drilling equipment.
Erie Police Chief Kim Stewart tells The Daily Camera in Boulder it appears the man's clothing became entangled in an auger that was attached to a tractor Monday afternoon. She called the accident a "terrible and sad situation."
The Weld County coroner's office will perform an autopsy on the Erie man, whose name and age have not been released.
