DENVER -- A new report shows Colorado home prices have appreciated 9.3 percent in the last year.
The report, from analytics company CoreLogic, said Colorado's increase in year-over-year home price appreciation was the 3rd largest in the country after Oregon (11.2%) and Washington (10.2%).
CoreLogic is forecasting that national home prices for single-famly homes will rise 5.4% in the next year. In Colorado, the increase is forecasted to be 5.9 percent.
However, the news for Colorado home owners was not all positive. CoreLogic said it believes homes in the Denver-Aurora-Lakewood metro area are overvalued.
