DENVER - It might be time to brush up on the driver's manual, Colorado.
Our fair state was recently ranked 15th on a list of the states with the worst drivers, compiled by CarInsuranceComparison.com.
We were ranked 11th on last year's list, so at least we've improved some.
The website looked at government data in five categories to compile its report: Fatality rates, failure to obey (fatal crashes associated with not using seat belts, ignoring traffic signals and driving with an invalid license), drunken driving, speeding and careless driving.
Compared to the other 49 states and Washington, DC, Colorado has especially high rates of speeding and failing to obey.
