DENVER – A climber has died after falling from the First Flatiron in Boulder early Thursday afternoon, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
The climber’s fall was reported at 1:08 p.m. by a witness who told the sheriff’s office they saw a person fall near the First Flatiron in a very steep area.
Crews are working to recover the body. The climber has not been identified.
This is the second fatal fall from the Flatirons in 2017, according to the Boulder Daily Camera.
