1. Spring Fire destroys more than 100 homes
San Luis Valley Emergency tweeted Monday night that 104 homes have been destroyed so far by the wildfire east of Fort Garland. The blaze has burned 89 square miles and forced the evacuation of more than 2,000 homes since last Wednesday.

2. Civic Center fireworks show

3. Thai cave rescue efforts underway
Rescuers now have to begin the difficult task of attempting to free the 12 boys and their coach from deep inside the flooded cave network in Thailand where they've been trapped for over a week. Officials said they plan to provide them with several months' worth of food while also teaching the boys how to scuba dive to get out.

4. Pruitt under more scrutiny
EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt and his staff reportedly kept secret calendars in order to hide Pruitt's controversial meetings and other interactions, according to a former official.

5. Hot and dry for Tuesday
More hot and dry weather is due across Colorado for Tuesday.  Temperatures will climb back into the 90s for Denver and the eastern plains, with some triple digit readings expected over the southeast plains.
