A four-year-old fishing at Cherry Creek State Park ended up catching a fish that was bigger than his toy fishing pole.

Tristan Evans, his dad Colin and a friend were fishing last month when Tristan hooked something.

"He's got a big walleye," Colin is heard on cell phone video as he uses a net to grab the fish. "Oh my God, Tristan, you just caught that walleye, all by yourself."

"He's a big fish," Tristan says.

"Look at that fish, are you kidding me?" Dad says after Tristan ran to the side of the boat away from the fish. "You just caught a bigger walleye than Dad will ever catch."

Tristan caught the 28-inch fish using a Shakespeare Spider-Man fishing pole, according to Colorado Outdoors Magazine.
