DENVER — The polls are closed, and the results of Denver’s municipal election are coming in.

Here is data from the early returns as of 10 p.m.

Mayor/Initiatives

• Mayor Michael Hancock is struggling to get above the 50% threshold to avoid a runoff. While leading in the early returns by 40%, Jamie Giellis is coming up close with 27% of the vote. More on the mayor's race and likely runoff here.
• Initiative 300, or the "Right to Survive" ordinance, appears to be losing by a large margin. Early results show 83% of voters are rejecting the ordinance.
• Initiative 301, an ordinance that would decriminalize psilocybin — the psychoactive substance in "magic mushrooms” — is struggling, too. The "no" vote is leading with 53% of the vote.

City Council

• Deborah "Debbie" Ortega leads in the councilmembers at large race with 36% of the vote.
• Amanda Sandoval leads the District 1 race with 32% of the vote.
• Kevin Flynn, the unchallenged candidate for District 2, has 100% of the vote.
• Veronica Barela has a narrow lead (39%) over Jamie Torres (38%) in the District 3 race. '
• Kendra Black has 78% of the vote in District 4.
• Amanda Sawyer leads (41%) over Mary Beth Susman (37%) in the District 5 race.
• Paul Kashmann, unchallenged District 6 candidate, has 100% of the vote.
• Jolon Clark, unchallenged District 7 candidate, has 100% of the vote.
• Chris Herndon leads (51%) over Blair Taylor (22%) in the District 8 race.
• Albus Brooks leads (48%) over Candi CdeBaca (38%) in the District 9 race.
• Wayne New leads (46%) over Chris Hinds (26%) in District 10.
• Stacie Gilmore leads (74%) over Christine M. Alonzo (25%) in District 11.
