AURORA, Colo. – Lucas Vaughan, the 12-year-old boy who went missing Sunday evening from his home in Aurora, was found safe Wednesday and will be reunited with his family, police said.

After saying earlier Wednesday morning that Vaughan was still missing, Aurora police tweeted just after 10:30 a.m. that he'd been found and was safe.

Vaughan had last been seen around 6 p.m. Sunday at his home in the 2300 block of S. Dawson Way—near E. Iliff Ave. east of Interstate 225.

Vaughan is about 5-foot-6 and 90 pounds, with a slim build, medium-length brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a maroon hoodie and Jordan sneakers, according to Aurora police.
