ORIGINAL STORY:

DENVER – An endangered missing advisory was issued Thursday evening for a 10-month-old girl missing since at least Thursday morning from Delta County after her mother was hospitalized with serious injuries.

The alert was issued Thursday evening for 10-month-old Ezaylea Cowger, whom authorities say was last seen Thursday morning in a 2005 white Chevrolet Impala at Delta County Memorial Hospital in Delta.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office said Ezaylea’s mother was dropped off at the hospital Thursday morning with “serious injuries.” The sheriff’s office said that she was dropped off by a man, who fled the hospital before deputies could arrive.

The sheriff’s office said authorities were working to identify the man but said he left in the white Impala, which had Colorado license plates QKF-867.

The sheriff’s office said they are hoping to question the man in regard to the assault and to Ezaylea’s whereabouts.

Ezaylea has blue eyes and brown hair but it’s unknown what she was last wearing.

Anyone with information about her, the man or the wanted vehicle is asked to call 911 immediately.
