GRAND COUNTY, Colo. – At least 12 homes were evacuated after a fire grew to more than 5 acres Tuesday afternoon.
The fire, dubbed the “Gore Ridge Fire,” burned in the Gorewood subdivision southwest of Kremmling, though it was not threatening the town at last update.
Grand County Emergency Management said approximately 15 people were evacuated out of the 12 homes, and that others in the area may be asked to evacuate should the fire spread.
Multiple area agencies have responded to the fire.
