DENVER – Two people police say were involved in a murder at an Aurora hotel early Thursday morning were arrested following a pursuit in Denver Friday.
Around 4:20 p.m., Aurora Police spotted the two unidentified suspects, a man and a woman, and a vehicle chase ensued.
At one point, the Aurora officers lost the suspects in the northwest part of the city but were later spotted by a Denver police officer, who joined the pursuit.
The chase ended at West 8th Avenue and Canosa Court. The suspects took off on foot but were quickly caught. They were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Police said the two shot and killed a man at the Travelodge Hotel located on 6th Avenue near Interstate 225. Police have not released a motive.
The name of the deceased victim will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office once they have positively identified him and his next of kin have been notified.
