LOVELAND, Colo. — Two suspects were arrested early Tuesday morning after at least two burglaries that gave a couple of Loveland homeowners quite the scare.
Travis Murray and Jonathan Shrives, both 33, were found hiding in the weeds near a retirement home and booked into the Larimer County Jail.
The Loveland 911 center received two burglary calls around 4:30 a.m. The first call came from a resident in the 400 block of 23rd Street Southwest. The caller said that he woke up and saw a man leaving his house.
The second caller a few houses away said he heard someone walking through his home. The caller didn’t see him.
Loveland police eventually tracked down the two men after they came upon the pair’s abandoned car.
Police believe the suspects entered through open garages and unlocked doors and that the two homes were not the only ones they targeted in the alleged spree.
