One man died and another was hurt in a shooting in Aurora early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to 348 Potomac Way around 2:30 a.m.on a report of shots fired at the Canterra at Fitzsimons Apartment complex, west of Interstate 225 and south of East Parkview Drive.
Officers found a man in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died at University Hospital, according to a press release from the Aurora Police Department.
A neighbor, who didn't want to be identified, told 7NEWS that the victim was a resident at the apartments and lived with his mother. The man said the victim got in an argument, possibly with people visiting his apartment, and then a single gunshot was fired.
The neighbor said he was with the victim as he lay bleeding in the parking lot near a fire hydrant.
Police said they have made no arrests and could not provide any suspect description.

At about 10 a.m., Aurora Police said both me were shot in the same incident at the Canterra at Fitzsimons Apartment complex. They weren't sure why the second victim left or why he waited to call 911.
