DENVER -- Two people accused of molesting children and taking videos and photos of their actions are going to prison, prosecutors said.
Matthew Scott Holt, 35, was sentenced to 55 years and Jordain Larsen, 27, was sentenced to 45 years after pleading guilty to production of child pornography involving three minor victims.
Two of the children were under the age of two and the third was under the age of nine, prosecutors said.
"A search of computers seized at the residence [in Westminster] revealed that Holt and Larsen produced a total of approximately 600 child pornography images and videos of three children to whom they had access," according to the U.S. Department of Justice. "The images and videos show either Larsen or Holt molesting the children, or they display the children in a sexually explicit way."
Prosecutors said eight videos were created when Larsen sexually abused one of the children while video conferencing with Holt.
"Holt watched and recorded the sessions on his cell phone," prosecutors said. "Larsen and Holt created other sexually explicit images of the children and sent them to each other. "
Authorities said they found approximately 20,000 images of child pornography on Holt's computer.
Both defendants were ordered to stay on supervised release for the remainder of their lives after their prison sentence.
