Can you help ID this bank robbery suspect?

Posted

Thornton Police hope someone can help to recognize the man who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank location Thursday morning.

The white male suspect entered the location at 9828 N. Grant Street around 10:58 a.m. He approached a teller and demanded money without ever displaying a weapon, Thornton Police Officer Matt Barnes says.

With the cash in hand, Barnes says the suspect ran from the bank and got into an SUV. The vehicle is believed to be an older model Chevrolet Blazer, with faded paint on hood and mismatched front and rear wheels on the passenger side.

The suspect is believed to have fled toward the north.

Anyone with information about the suspect or his vehicle is asked to call the Thornton Police tip line 720-977-5069, or the Metro Area crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
