(UPDATE | June 10) — The man who died at Hunter's Glen Lake in early June has been identified as 37-year-old Daniel Bernard Haire of Thornton, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Sherronda Appleberry. The cause and manner of his death is under investigation.

THORNTON, Colo. – A death investigation is underway in Thornton after a man’s body was found in Hunter’s Glen Lake Monday evening.
The man’s body was found by a fisherman in the northeast corner of the lake at around 8:10 p.m., according to Thornton Police spokesman Matt Barnes.

Barnes said officers were conducting a death investigation and where awaiting the arrival of the coroner to pull the body out of the water.
The cause and manner of death is unknown at this time.
