PARKER, Colo. -- A dispute over the piercing sound of a leaf blower caused an armed suspect to barricade himself inside a Parker apartment, police said Friday afternoon.
The suspect allegedly pointed a gun at an employee of the Ranchstone Apartments in the area of Carlson Drive and Pine Lane, after the employee used the leaf blower outside the suspect's home, a spokesperson for the Parker police said.
After the confrontation, the employee went to management where he called 911.
The suspect then barricaded himself inside his apartment as police urged residents in the area to stay inside and away from doors and windows as SWAT tried to get the suspect out.
