West Metro firefighters rescued a chihuahua from storm drain on Friday morning.
Someone walking near Weir Gulch, near Sheridan Boulevard and Ohio Avenue, saw the dog in a drain.
West Metro Fire told 7NEWS that firefighters opened a manhole cover and when a firefighter went into the storm drain, they found the dog running around.
"He came right to me when I called him," firefighter Aaron Bon said. "He was a little scared with all the noise we were making."
West Metro Fire said firefighters knocked on nearby doors, but were unable to find the dog's owner. Animal Control took the dog.
