A pedestrian who was hit and trapped under a truck was rescued by firefighters Tuesday.
The pedestrian was hit at Elizabeth and Patton streets in Fort Collins, near Poudre Valley Hospital.
Firefighters used blocks of wood to help lift the truck and get to the victim.

The victim is a man, but authorities did not release his age. They did say the man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities did not release any information about the circumstances of the collision.
