Family escapes house fire on Sycamore Street in Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- A family of four escaped a house fire early Monday morning.

The fire was first reported at about 12:30 a.m. in the 500-block of Sycamore Street, near Lee Martinez Park.

Poudre Fire Authority said no one was injured, but the home sustained moderate fire and smoke damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, authorities said.
