ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The mother wanted as part of an AMBER Alert for allegedly abducting her children over the weekend made her first court appearance on Monday.
Rebecca Dinapoli, 38, was advised that she is facing a charge of kidnapping.
Dinapoli is accused of kidnapping her children Sunday morning.
Police said Dinapoli, and her two boys, were found safe after a tip on Sunday night. The group was found about two miles away from where the boys were allegedly kidnapped.
An AMBER Alert was issued for Dinapoli because there is a court order prohibiting Dinapoli from having contact with the children.
The children are doing fine, police said. However, authorities said because of the ongoing investigation, their location is not being released.
