DENVER -- A person who uses a wheelchair was hit by a car and seriously injured early Thursday morning.
The victim was crossing the street at Franklin Street and Colfax Avenue around 1 a.m. when they were hit.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene. Police have not yet said if the driver will face any charges.
