DENVER -- Denver police are investigating a shooting with evidence over a two mile area.
Police said a person was shot in the leg in the 1200-block of South Sheridan around 1 a.m.
However, the victim was able to get away and call police from Dartmouth and Sheridan.

Denver police said the victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators have not yet released any information about the suspect in the shooting.
