DENVER -- A pedestrian crossing the street near the Colorado State Capitol was hit by an SUV Thursday morning.
The collision happened at Lincoln Street and 14th Avenue.
Witnesses said the driver stayed at the scene.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries, witnesses said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
