ARVADA, Colo. -- At least two homes in Arvada caught fire Monday morning.
The fire started in a duplex around 4:45 a.m. at a new development on 85th Lane, near Highway 93 and 72, according to the Arvada Fire Department.
The fire then spread to a nearby home.

Arvada Fire said six crews fought the fire -- five engines and one truck.

Two people in the duplex got out safely, officials said.
However, one firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Arvada Fire.
Investigators have been called in to determine the cause of the fire.
