DEER TRAIL, Colo. -- A pedestrian was hit and killed on Interstate 70 on Tuesday morning.
The pedestrian was hit in an eastbound traffic lane at mile marker 332, which is near Deer Trail, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Investigating auto vs. ped fatal crash, EB I70 mm 332. Ped struck in the travel lane. EB traffic diverted to H40. Closure from mm 329-336.

The Colorado Department of Transportation has a construction project on I-70 from mile marker 329 to mile marker 340, but the victim was not a construction worker, CSP said.
