ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. – A woman who was arrested and charged earlier this week on suspicion of first-degree murder in the shooting death of an Adams County man was advised of additional charges in the case Friday.
Ashley Elizabeth White, 25, who was a person of interest in the shooting death of 28-year-old Shelby “Cody” Delisa, was charged with first-degree murder after deliberation, first-degree murder during the commission of a felony, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and robbery by the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
Adams County deputies found Delisa unresponsive in a pool of blood on Aug. 14 after his employer and landlord requested a welfare check earlier that day after he didn’t answer his phone. Deputies said he had been shot in the head.
White was advised of the charges in Adams county District Court. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 6 at 9 a.m.
