Woman arrested, charged with first-degree murder in Adams County homicide

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. – A woman was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a Friday morning homicide in Adams County.

Ashley Elizabeth White, 25, was sought by Adams County deputies as a person of interest after a man was found shot to death inside a home in the 6000 block of 80th Avenue at around 11:12 a.m. Friday, according to a Crime Alert bulletin from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

Late Tuesday afternoon, deputies said White was arrested following an interview with law enforcement and was charged with first-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence, a class 1 and a class 6 felony, respectively.

Deputies said the investigation is ongoing and further arrests and charges are possible.
