DENVER -- A family in Denver said a thief not only stole the packages on their porch, he also took their chair and a child-painted rock.

Klare Looney told Denver7 that her family came home from a trip and noticed their patio chair was missing.

"I went on Ring and started looking at the alerts," Looney said.

Ring is an app that uses a motion-sensitive camera to record people who come to your door.

Looney said Ring recorded a man ringing her doorbell then dragging her chair away in broad daylight on Tuesday afternoon.

It also showed the man stealing a rock.

"Love your life, that's what's on the rock he's putting in his pocket," Looney said. "My mom and daughter painted it. I had it there forever."

"Really? You're going to take a rock that says, 'Love your life,'" Looney said.

Looney said the man took four packages from her porch. One had a year's worth of coffee. Other packages had Christmas presents for her kids who are 10 and seven.

If you recognize the man in the video, please call Denver Police.
