DENVER -- A family woke up early Monday morning when an SUV crashed through their yard and into their house.
It happened at 40th Avenue and Columbine Street around 2:07 a.m.
Investigators told Denver7 the driver of the SUV drove into the yard, through a fence and hit the house.
One wall was lifted about a foot off the foundation, police said.
The residents of the home were not hurt.
The driver of the SUV ran off, police said.
Officers said alcohol was found in the SUV.
