DENVER – Police are asking for the public's help finding a suspect and vehicle following a shooting that left one man dead at N. Colorado Boulevard and E. Colfax Avenue early Thursday morning.

Just before 1 a.m. Thursday, police said they received a 911 call about a shooting at the intersection. Once officers got to the scene, they found a victim inside a white vehicle who was suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man died as a result of his injury, police said. He was identified on Monday as Lee Walker, 69.

Police are now searching for a dark-colored vehicle in connection to the crime, which is being investigated as a homicide.

Police said the vehicle appeared to have a faded hood and roof, black rims and a bag or tarp covering the rear window and trunk area.

Anyone with information related to this homicide is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
