NORTHGLENN, Colo. – Police arrested a man Monday who is accused of stabbing his grandfather to death.
Northglenn police were called out to a home in the 11400 block of Emerson Street Monday just after noon on the report of a dead man. When officers, arrived, they found a 78-year-old man dead in his bedroom. He was surrounded by a pool of blood, police said. The man has not been identified.
Detectives found the man had several stab wounds. A spokesperson for the police department said investigators then arrested Justin Adams, 38, who is the grandson of the victim, for the man’s death. He faces investigation on homicide charges but court records indicate he has not been formally charged as of Wednesday.
