COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A woman wanted by Colorado Springs police for violating a custody order after reportedly taking her 1-year-old son with her on Tuesday has been taken into custody.

Dionicia Miranda, 19, and her 1-year-old son, Emilio, were found "in good condition" in Arizona early Wednesday evening, according to a spokesperson with the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Miranda had a warrant out for her arrest after allegedly taking the boy from a home in the area of Mt. Vernon Street and McArthur Avenue just before 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to a statement from the Colorado Springs Police Department.

A spokesperson for the department said in a press release both officers and detectives tried to find Miranda but were unsuccessful and asked for the public’s help to find her.
