ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. -- Deputies are investigating a shooting that left one man dead.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office said Denver Police officers took a man with a gunshot wound to the hospital Monday night.
"After arriving at the hospital, we learned that the shooting occurred near the 5700 block of Logan Street," the Adams County Sheriff's Office said in a statement sent to Denver7. "Deputies responded to Logan Street and were able to locate a crime scene in that area."
The victim did not survive.
Officials said deputies are investigating this as a homicide, but they have not released any information about the circumstances of the shooting, the victim or a possible suspect.
