Man found dead in west Aurora, police conducting homicide investigation

AURORA, Colo. – Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead in west Aurora early Saturday morning.

Police went to the area of S. Havana Street and E. Colorado Avenue at around 6:30 a.m. in response to a report of an unresponsive man.

When police got there, they found the man was suffering from apparent trauma in the parking lot of a U-Haul business at 1802 S. Havana Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The crime scene is now being investigated as a homicide.

The victim's identity is not being released pending notification to family members.
