LOVELAND, Colo. – Police in Loveland are seeking additional victims following a months-long sexual assault investigation that is still ongoing.

On April 15, detectives with the Loveland Police Department began investigating allegations of sexual assault against 26-year-old Austin J. Jauregui. Detectives said numerous underage victims were identified during the investigation.

The victims told investigators they met Jauregui while attending the Loveland Church of Christ as well as the Longmont Christian School.

While it’s not clear when it happened, police said in a news release Jauregui turned himself in at the Larimer County Jail for an arrest warrant alleging sexual assault on a child by someone in a position of trust and internet sexual exploitation of a child.

He was released on bond.

If you, or someone you know were victimized by Jauregui, please call Loveland Police Detective Clint Schnorr at 970-962-2249.
