LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. -- A K-9 helped deputies arrest one of Larimer County's most wanted during a standoff on Sunday morning.
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office said deputies learned the wanted man, 30-year-old Travis Sky Wadena, was in a mobile home trailer on County Road 54G at 2:30 a.m.
Deputies said there was a standoff with Wadena.
"After chemical agents were introduced to the residence by SWAT, a search of the residence was conducted; however, Wadena wasn't found inside," the Larimer County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies said a K-9 found Wadena in the crawl space under the trailer and Wadena fled to avoid the dog.
That's when SWAT officers arrested Wadena.
Wadena was evaluated at a local hospital, then booked into the jail on outstanding warrants for robbery, violation of bail bond conditions and possession of a controlled substance, officials said.
