Hit-and-run in Pueblo leaves man dead, police say

PUEBLO, Colo. – A man was left to die on the road after a driver ran him over and left the scene of the crime early Sunday, a spokesperson for the Pueblo Police Department said.

Officers were sent to the 3900 block of Azalea Street on reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.

When officers arrived, they found a Hispanic man, approximately 35-years-old, dead on the roadway.

The suspect vehicle is described as a white or light colored 4-door sedan. The investigation into the hit-and-run is still ongoing.
